The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.
SASSA will be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency claimed it really is alarmed in regards to the higher range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The service position established for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that Workplace to attend to all people who go read more to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to enable the servicing of all clients and enhance use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
